:: For my SIL ::

SIL for those who don't know means
Sister-in-law
mine (the mister mr.'s little sister) is in Spain for the next three months
meow. cry me a river right?. meow.
but after reading her blog bayleeface (that's not the real name of her blog, that's just what I named it)
I discovered the sad news (for her) that she cannot find regular milk over there.
Being the milk whore lover that she is- this is a disaster. I may have to send her some milk
cause I honestly do not think she can make it.  So when I came home from school, I was craving
and I mean CRAVING a big ole' glass of milk with my inception cookie. FYI- Inception cookies (as the hubbs calls them) are oreo cookies baked inside a chocolate chip cookie. Get it? a cookie within a cookie? haha clever man. So I took some pics for her because it was damn tasty and I wanted to remind her why she has to come home now- she can't meet some hot spanish guy and stay there. Girls gotta have her milk.

oh yeah! and Baylee, you better believe it was tasty and the milk? nice and cold!!

:: One Year ::

One year ago- I married the Mister Mr.
Wow.
I seriously feel like I am this little 15 year old girl
crushing on this goofy punk kid with his sideways hat.
Listening to Blink 182 and going to football games
on Friday nights at the high school.
It is even crazier to think we have known each other for
8 years! I can't be that old yet...can I?

My favorite things about my husband
* His ability to make me laugh when I need it most
* "The Face" he makes at me when I say something silly
*  How good and how sweet he is with my nieces and nephews
*  How great he is at reminding me that I am a good person and to keep pushing through
*  His mad skills at Creed impressions haha
*  I love the yummy potatoes he makes for me when I am super hungry
*  I love that when I attempt to make dinner- and it turns out terrible, he still eats it like it's his last meal.
and sooo much more! I can't wait to see what is in store for us in the future boo!
I love you :)

Wait...Do I belong here?

seriously.
Do I belong in the health care field?
Probably not.
I am a bitch opinionated person by nature
so when people are pissing me off
or just being plain dumb
I have NO PROBLEM
telling them.
except...in the health care field
you have to act like everyone is your best friend
and that the world is full of sunshine and rainbows.
W...T....F
I see myself being more like this

RAWR!!!....the bitch is in.
and getting sh*t done! in the fashion world..
not in a magazine. Handing out lollipops and ass-kicking sessions
but always fresh out of lollipops. :)

not this fake sweet and nice person that I am all day

don't get me wrong... I like helping people..
but some people...ugh.
act like you are their personal health care slave.
and sometimes...I can be a very friendly and nice person.
The patients that I love..love me in return. The patients that
drive me crazy? still think I love them.  Let's just say that
some days...I drink more wine at 5:00pm than other days.

:: Just Because ::

Just Because I had a good weekend with my hubbs
and I love him so much- I thought I would share a couple pics from our
weekend in Park City.  My sister's best friend got married up at the
beautiful Park City resort and my goodness it was a good time and
a beautiful, amazing wedding. Bride was beaming and gorgeous and
her hubbs to be was handsome in his gray tux (love gray). There was
chardonnay at the reception-my weakness! I ripped my dress up the seam
dancing my ass booty off with my sister and I rode the alpine slide down the mountain
while wearing this said dress... not an easy task people but it was so fun!

love you husband :)

We are a good looking couple when we dress up!

handsome man- love it when he is fancy-such a hottie!

my cute dress-pre dancing rip
I am about to ride that yellow thing down a mountain

Gorgeous Bride- I was in love with her dress

that short red-Head walking down the aisle is my sister...I swear we are related.
we seriously spent half the night convincing people we are really related!!
she looks like my dad and her mom and I just look more like my mom haha

It was nice to go out and do a couple thing and be at a beautiful wedding
Congrats Erin and Sam!
thanks for the invite..and the chardonnay.. we had a great time!

:: House Tour ::

I have decided that I will have a house tour
as in house tour of MY house
post pics and tell you what I have changed/ remodeled and get some feedback
on what to do next.

The first room you get to see is our Master bedroom because
that is my baby
the room I am most proud of
but sadly I suck at "before" pictures
I get so excited to change things and then I forget to take the before's!

So trust me- it was not pretty before
It was black and red and basically my room I had at my parents except it didn't look as cute
because I didn't have my awesome wallpaper or my adorable mirror
and it was in a bigger space so it didn't look as cute
if that makes any sense

So I consulted with the hubbs and after suggesting a hundred couple ideas
he finally agreed to one
Yellow and Gray...and black.
black is a boyish color
so we had to throw it in

Hello lover :)
that grey headboard was a DI find that only cost 20 dollars

our loverly bed- I still need to make a yellow and gray pillow

"I'm lost without you" is our song and it was a line in my wedding vows

My side of the bed
(notice the picture of hubbs-on our wedding day-reading his vows)
the vase was 5 dollars and the sticks were recycled from our wedding centerpieces
and spray painted to match our room

His side
(picture of me reading my vows..and crying..haha)

Random little nook/corner with a 20 dollar vase&stick combo from Ikea

dresser I got for free from my sister
collage of pics from our wedding in DI frames
(not one frame cost me over $2.00)
the rose garland stuff was also a recycle from our wedding

close up of my beautiful hard work on my FREE dresser
It was just plain wood color before

I also replaced the top knobs- these flower looking ones were 3 dollars each

this is my favorite part- can you tell?

Hope chest look-alike
It is actually the bottom part of a china hutch-see how it has
4 doors on the front of it? this was a 20 dollar DI find

Black dresser was mine from my parents house
see my awkwardly placed jewelry box?

door to my closet

window seat area-I want to make a cushion for it but not sure how..??

Flower balls were 5 dollars each at Tai Pan
hooks they are on were 4.50 each also at Tai Pan

that gray little stand was free- it was left in a Uhaul truck so the hubbs
scooped it up a couple years ago when he worked there
Vase was 15 dollars and the sticks and such were a wedding recycle
View into my closet..yes MY closet
hubbs literally cannot fit any clothes in there

door to our bathroom-nope you don't get to see that yet
cause it's a mess and I hate it
what's that you ask? is that John Mayer?
why yes it is!
wanna see a close up?
Here ya go!!
My friend Jamie's husband stenciled and spray painted that for me
for my birthday! Awesome-ness? yes I think so

My crazy, odd-shaped, high ceilings

more of the weird shaped high ceilings

ugly "boob" light
I want a chandelier but haven't found an old vintage one to re-do

gotta have some pics of my beloved New York in there!

This is a shadow box that has our wedding vows, a picture of our kiss
and the hubbs boutonniere in it.
cute ya?
I got this frame for free from my aunt

So that is my pride and joy
my beautiful and frugal re-do of the master bedroom
maybe I can find some before pics so you can see the big difference
seriously though..
BIG difference
Once I clean the rest of my house I will continue with the house tour
but school starts next week so I may be extra lazy from now on
