:: Just Because ::

Just Because I had a good weekend with my hubbs
and I love him so much- I thought I would share a couple pics from our
weekend in Park City.  My sister's best friend got married up at the
beautiful Park City resort and my goodness it was a good time and
a beautiful, amazing wedding. Bride was beaming and gorgeous and
her hubbs to be was handsome in his gray tux (love gray). There was
chardonnay at the reception-my weakness! I ripped my dress up the seam
dancing my ass booty off with my sister and I rode the alpine slide down the mountain
while wearing this said dress... not an easy task people but it was so fun!

It was nice to go out and do a couple thing and be at a beautiful wedding

:: House Tour ::

I have decided that I will have a house tour

as in house tour of MY house

post pics and tell you what I have changed/ remodeled and get some feedback

on what to do next. 

The first room you get to see is our Master bedroom because

that is my baby

the room I am most proud of

but sadly I suck at "before" pictures

I get so excited to change things and then I forget to take the before's!

So trust me- it was not pretty before

It was black and red and basically my room I had at my parents except it didn't look as cute

because I didn't have my awesome wallpaper or my adorable mirror

and it was in a bigger space so it didn't look as cute

if that makes any sense

So I consulted with the hubbs and after suggesting a hundred couple ideas

he finally agreed to one

Yellow and Gray...and black.

black is a boyish color

so we had to throw it in

that grey headboard was a DI find that only cost 20 dollars

our loverly bed- I still need to make a yellow and gray pillow

"I'm lost without you" is our song and it was a line in my wedding vows

the vase was 5 dollars and the sticks were recycled from our wedding centerpieces

and spray painted to match our room

that gray little stand was free- it was left in a Uhaul truck so the hubbs
scooped it up a couple years ago when he worked there
Vase was 15 dollars and the sticks and such were a wedding recycle

Once I clean the rest of my house I will continue with the house tour

but school starts next week so I may be extra lazy from now on

with munchkins running around all over.

Summer was here just like a day ago and now we are into August and it's about to end?

where in the hell was I?

at work.

We are going to take some sort of trip with the mister Mr. and his family

this month. To where?

I. have. no. idea.

mister Mr. is done with school this month

I take my radiology classes this upcoming semester

then I take the state test (gulp.anxiety attack.)

then I will hopefully add the extra letters of

L.R.P.T

(licensed radiological practicing technician)

I always get the R. and the P. mixed up so it may be

L.P.R.T

either way...I want to add them to my name

M.A   just sits there alone and wants some friends to play with.

(as in sits there alone on the end of my name-get it?)

But I have come to the decision that I am going to get my associates in general studies

since the wait lists for everything are like beyond ridiculous then that way I will have

some sort of degree right? maybe I will feel less like a loser face this way.

It has been awhile since I last blogged

there is a reason

I have kind of been in this blah place

my family found out in May (in case you haven't read my older posts)

that my sister (my best friend and my hero)

has stage two breast cancer.

SLAP!

that was the sound of cancer slapping my family across the face

two surgeries, and one round of chemo is where we are at.

She still has 3 more rounds of chemo and 5 weeks of radiation

Don't you wish that you could just put parts of your life on pause while you deal

with one thing at a time?

"Dear work, school, friends, and bills to be paid- I can't help you right now, 

I am currently dealing and healing with my family- I will get back to you when I have time, thanks"

nope.

not. so. much.

By the way... I turned 23 last month.

twenty freaking three

and I got a new tattoo (pics coming soon)
